One of the major problems people face is the loss of the password and not remembering it again, these have cause a lot of damage to many people and organizations. Recommendation was made among others that the teacher trainers, in their teachings to meet the demands of the society, should stress the importance of exploring the features of mobile phones for PD purpose.

The study concluded that for teacher to utilize the potentials of mobile phone for their PD purpose, a well-planned, ongoing professional development program, linked to curricular objectives, and incorporating integration of mobile phone into PD activities is needed.

The major findings of the study, among others include Through mobile phone, teachers can follow links and share website links for information on researches and publications, via mobile phone internet connectivity, teachers can log-in and complete enrolment for professional development courses, mobile phone serves as easier and faster communication media for call for conferences and paper presentation and mobile phone can facilitate interaction and discussion among teachers who are separated by distance. A research question and a hypothesis guided this study.

This study aimed at identifying issues on the use of mobile communication technology in creation of sense of collaboration/networking among technology teachers in Anambra state. Teachers in Anambra state rarely recognize the potential of mobile technologies to deliver PD that is, ongoing, sustainable, flexible, personalized and available anywhere at any time. While teachers collaboration forms one of the major activities in PD, mobile phone provides anytime-anywhere opportunity for teachers to engage in collaborative PD. In recent years, the advent of miniaturized mobile communication technologies such as mobile phones has resulted in new dimension of teacher professional development (PD). The tools used in the development of the prototype T-junction traffic light include proteus Virtual Simulation Module Software Development Kit (VSMSDK) used to develop the GUI and the host server, macro integrated development environment(MIDE) used to edit and assembly the software program. The server has GSM receiver interface to it through a smart level converter (max 232). The microcontroller emulates the attention (AT) command of the modem and uses it to send fault alert in form of short message service (SMS) to the host server. The remote site consists of a prototype T-Junction traffic light, controlled by an intelligent processor (microcontroller) which also monitors and diagnoses fault(s) in the system and alerts the central server via GSM modem interfaced to it. The remote system’s status report obtained from the GUI helps the maintenance operator(s) to change or repair the traffic light head at appropriate time. The quality of light produced by the light emitting element of traffic light system at remote site is monitored via graphical user interface (GUI). In this paper, a self diagnostic system for maintenance of traffic light system is developed.

Independent-Variable Data Validation Scheme (IVDVS) is applied to analyse the data collected while accepting the null hypothesis, showing adequate agreement between computed results and actual prototype system reliability at 0.05 significance levels. Electronics Development Institute, Awka-Nigeria, was used as the testbed for the sample population. We used an independent statistical approach to test a null hypothesis based on the responses of expert implementers in a sample population. This research then addresses these issues by developing a Prototype GSM Billboard Display System (PGBDS) for limitless geographical reach, based on embedded AT89C51 Microcontroller chip with its associated peripherals mounted inside a large chassis or enclosure. In this regard, the factors that contribute to the overall reliability of these systems have been scarcely investigated on. Various contributions have been made in developing embedded systems both on low and complex systems with little consideration on reliability analysis of these systems.
